MELAMIN KOCEVJE HAS PROVIDED CUSTOMERS WITH CUSTOMIZED SOLUTIONS FOR OVER 60 YEARS

Our intention is to become one of the most important producers of modified melamine resins and decorative melamine films for chipboards in central Europe.

Paint and lacquer industry

Komelol® - etherified resins for the production of paints and lacquers. The function as crosslinkers in formulations based alkyds, acrylates, polyesters and epoxides, increasing the hardness and chemical resistance of coatings.

Rubber industry

Silomel® - adhesion promoters for adhesion between metal and rubber, based on hexamethoxymethylolmelamine. They are used in the rubber industry, primarily for the production of tyres.

Paper industry

Agents for improving the wet strength of paper based on polyamidoamine-epichlorohydrin, melamine and urea.
Sizing agents for paper sizing based on alkylketene dimer.
Crosslinking agents for paper and paperboard coatings.
Retention, floccultaion and dewatering agents.
Fixing agents.

Wood processing and furniture industries

Melafilm® - impregnated decorative paper for short-cycle lamination of chipboard, fibreboard and plywood, production of abrasion-resistent laminate flooring, and pressing of decorative laminates.
Meldur® - melamine-urea glues for wood processing.
Meldur® - melamine and urea resins for impregnation of decorative papers.

Civil engineering

Melamine-based superplasticizers for concrete.

Footwear manufacturing

Termoflex® and Petex® - Thermoplastic and solvent dipping materials for toe puffs and counters in footwear manufacturing.

Fire retardants

MELAMID® 50 Is a certified coating for chemical protection of wooden surfaces against fire.
PIROMEL® Is a granulated intumescent fire retardant.

Products for end-users

AGROGEL® - an environmentally friendly superabsorptive polymer capable of retaining more than 100 times its own weight of water, and very convenient for use in agriculture.
MELALED® - an antifreeze agent for cooling-heating systems.

Textile industry

Melateks® - amino and glyoxal resins, used in textile industry as finishing agents.
