Agents for improving the wet strenght of paper

Agents for improving the wet strenght of paper

Wet strenght paper is achieved with various types of resins in neutral as well as slightly acid pH range. They also improve the retention of fillers.

POLYAMIDOAMINE-EPICHLORHYDRIN RESINS

Used in the production of various types of paper in neutral as well as slightly acid pH range.
In addition to improving the paper’s wet strength, they also improve the retention of fillers TiO2, and adhesion to the yankee cylinder during the manufacturing of tissue papers. Groups of products and products within the group differ from each other in concentration, AOX and organochlorine byproducts content and efficiency.

MELAPRET PAE/A Group Of Products

Resins with lower AOX content than standard products.

MELAPRET PAE/A-1 Group Of Products

Resins with low content of 1,3-dichloro-2-propanal (DCP). Their effectiveness mokes them suitable for the production of high wet strength paper like decor and label papers.

MELAPRET PAE/AX, PAE/AXM Group Of Products

Resins with low AOX content and high efficiency.

MELAPRET PAE/AM-3G Group Of Products

3rd generation resins with low AOX, DCP and MCPD content.
