Synthetic sizing agents are used to reduce the natural absorption of paper. The more the paper is siezed the less it is absorbent.

MODIFIED ALKYLKETENE DIMER DISPERSION

Used for internal sizing of paper in neutral or slightly alkaline pH range, mainly for papers in which calcium carbonate is used as a filler. Some types of products can be used for surface sizing of paper and paperboard.

MELAKLEJ OP group of products

Sizing agents without sizing promoter with a weak cationic charge and concentration between 8 % and 20 %. They can be used as surface sizing agents.

MELAKLEJ MP

Cationic sizing agents with sizing promoter and concentration between 10% in 23%.

MELAKLEJ DP 2

Cationic sizing agent with high proportion of sizing promoter.

MELAKLEJ A 11

A sizing agent with a weak anionic charge. It is suitable for surface sizing of paper and board with a high content of optical brightener.
